Abstract
In our 21st century lives we watch follow, like and re-post habitually
within social media, we install cameras in our homes or in the children's nursery,
we own watches and phones with GPS tracking. We openly watch ourselves and
surrender our personal information while becoming the voyeur to others.
The Outsider considers this complex web of surveiling, positioning the viewer
squarely between the desire to see and to be seen.
