Abstract

Neil Haddon's painting, The Visit, just won the $100,000 Hadley's Art Prize. Eddie talks with Neil about what he'll do with the prize money, why H.G. Wells' 1898 novel War of the Worlds inspired his painting and how the work portrays a landscape that is perpetually between two places--a dual view migrants like himself often have.
