Abstract
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved friend and inspiring colleague Tracey Banivanua Mar, who passed away on 19 August 2017. Tracey was a leading scholar of her generation in the field of colonial and postcolonial histories, and her work radically reshaped understandings of the entangled histories of Australia and the Pacific for both local and international scholars.
