Abstract

Westfield shareholders have approved Australia's largest takeover, the $33-billion purchase by French Unibail Rodamco, creating the world's largest chain of shopping mall. The vote marked the end of a corporate dynasty, with the Lowy family walking away from the Westfield empire they created.
