Abstract
Eavesdropping has a particular lure. We admit ourselves to a privileged conversation in the expectation of insight or titillation. In Worship and Ethics, we are offered just such an opportunity. Oswald Bayer and Alan Suggate invite us to listen in on the conversation of a self-constituted gathering of Anglican and Lutheran scholars concerned to explore what ecumenical progress might be made in the field of ethics. The eavesdropper will certainly be rewarded with insight.
