Sample 1066A-504 was sent to CODES Analytical Laboratories for mounting and analysis, to determine V content of the main mineral phases. A portion of the sample was washed with water to remove fine-grained clay components, mixed with epoxy resin, placed into 2.5 cm mount and polished for analysis. The sample was analysed by MLA to determine mineral proportions and provide liberation information, and by La-ICPMS to determine V content in the main mineral phases. Table 1 presents the summary of mineral proportions and V concentrations in the analysed sample. Based on these results, the total V content in the analysed sample is ~ 2500 ppm.
