Abstract

The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is an initiative of Universitas Indonesia which aims to measure campus sustainability efforts at universities all over the world. Over the past seven years, ranking participation has substantially increased (with a few Australian and New Zealand universities participating in different years) and the assessment methodology has become more transparent. However, some survey questions are still imprecise and relatively open to interpretation. The University of Tasmania participated in the ranking for the first time in 2016 and we wold like to share our experience, discuss approaches and exchange opinions about the most ambiguous questions.
