Some Implications of a new naturalism

chapter
posted on 2023-05-22, 22:17 authored by Clement HudsonClement Hudson, Gare, A
The essays in this volume all point to the need to reconceive naturalism and to move away from the objectifying naturalism still pervading large parts of political and social theory. A naturalism that does not assume a transcendent knower or a Cartesian mind directs us toward understanding natural phenomena from entangled, immanentist, and at times anthropomorphic standpoints.
