Abstract
This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows:
- To identify the effects and assess the effectiveness of interventions to reduce sedentary behaviour (total sedentary time and the pattern of accumulation of sedentary time) in older adults.
- To summarise the effects of interventions to reduce sedentary behaviour on quality of life, depression, and health status in older adults.
- To summarise any evidence on the cost-effectiveness of interventions that reduce sedentary behaviour in older adults.
