Abstract

The northern sea route (NSR) has evolved as an international trade route alternative from 2009. The lack of understanding and the lack of information are two key elements restricting the use of the NSR. Therefore, this paper seeks to overcome those restrictions with a bow-tie analysis to qualitatively perform a risk analysis with a fuzzy set theory to model uncertainness in the data.
