The Southern Gospel Choir and the Taste of Tasmania
Re positioning African American gospel rhythms, harmony, gesture and nuance into a popular music context. I was required to re write, arrange and perform a 2 hour set of contemporary music, within the SGC/AA musical context. Vamp choruses and solo voice were the particularly emphasis for this research, and built on the SGC USA work form 2014.
