The study of cultural identity in China English

As an international language, English has become a multinational, multicultural and multifunctional language. The appearance of the concept of "Englishes" reflects the reality that English is no longer what it used to be. The globalization of English causes the nativization of English in different countries and regions. China English refers to one variety of English resulting from the combination of Chinese culture and English and used by the speakers with Chinese linguistic and cultural background. It is the result of the localization of English in China. Chinese identity is embedded in China English. This phenomenon is seen in the features of China English at the levels of vocabulary, syntax and discourse and China English is the natural result of Chinese cultural transfer and bears the typical features of Chinese culture.
