Abstract
We left from Dahab on the Red Sea in the late evening to drive up to St Catherine's monastery (1500m) at the foot of both the highest mountain in Egypt (Mt Catherine - 2629m) and its more famous neighbour Mt Sinai (2285m). Moses is reputed to have climbed up and down Mt Sinai eight times in one night as an 80 year old when collecting The Ten Commandments.
