Mama K and the Big Love performed 21 original soul / funk / heathen gospel songs at MONA. The songs (written by David Johnstone) reference the early days of gospel and soul to weave the familiar 'call and response' sound into 60s based funky grooves. The Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) is an art museum located within the Moorilla winery on the Berriedale peninsula in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. It is the largest privately funded museum in Australia. The museum presents antiquities, modern and contemporary art.
