Blind

Blind is an album of 10 original, soul / funk / heathen gospel songs which draw on influences from the early days of gospel and soul, and infuses them with the earthy and funky rhythms from the 60s and 70s heyday of funk and southern soul. The album was recorded between February and November, 2016 at Red Planet in Hobart by producer Stewart Long (Violent Femmes, Luca Brasi). It was tracked through a 1975 Vintage Harrison Recording Console and mixed to a Vintage Studer Analog Tape Deck. "So much can be done with digital these days, but sometimes you just want some romance!" said Stew, "We used old gear wherever it felt good."
