Wise Head video series: Voice of the Angler and Voice of the Witness

Derwent Estuary Heavy Metals Program. These video works, launched by PE Davies MOMA Market 2 April 2017, conjure lived experiences of the Derwent River. Historic video and images are woven around locals who talk of their long term relationship with the river. These Wise Heads give us a ‘long view’ – an oral history of perceptions and memories of the Derwent over the past 50+ years. A sense of lived personal engagement with the river through personal witness, angling and science.
