conference contribution
posted on 2023-05-23, 11:18 authored by Kim BeswickThis study examined the shared beliefs among mathematics teachers in one secondary school in the United Kingdom across the first term of a school year and almost 4 years subsequently. Leximancer software was used to analyse the language used as teachers responded to questions concerning their beliefs about mathematics, mathematics teaching, mathematics learning, and their department on at least two occasions. The analysis revealed changes of language and evidence of shared beliefs at each point in the study.
