conference contribution
posted on 2023-05-23, 10:09 authored by Ellis, RJ, Steven SmithSteven Smith, Barraclough, RExamples of such interactions are given, including ribulose 1,5-diphosphate carboxylase in which the small subunit, encoded in nuclear genes and synthesized by cytoplasmic ribosomes, enters the chloroplast to combine with the large subunit produced on chloroplast ribosomes from a gene in the chloroplast genome.
